The Manager Operations Improvement reports to the VP Operations Improvement and provides a critical level of support to a variety of special projects, financial analysis, problem resolution, and other business related activities as needed on a companywide basis. The position also interacts with a diverse group of important internal and external contacts.

Key Responsibilities
• This is an opportunity to interface closely with top “C” level Executives and other members of senior management
• This individual will manage highly visible projects that improve operational efficiencies and provide strategic impact within a $2B Company.
• This person will be a major contributor in the development of ongoing business strategy.
• Individual must be a strong analytical thinker and top performer in MS Excel.
• This person must possess an ability to gather complex concepts and reach concise deliverables.
• Background in Mergers & Acquisitions a plus.
• Conducts special financial and business related studies and projects as requested
• Frequent communication with business partners to support data collection and processing for delivery of special project requests.
• Ability to understand and use planning and budgeting systems, general ledger reports, and the preparation of financial and management reports
• Ability to prioritize work, summarize data for reports, find solutions to fact gathering problems
Experiences/Skills/Education
• BS in Finance, Economics or Industrial Engineering preferred. MBA Strongly preferred
• A minimum of 5+ years of business analysis and related analytical project work experience
• Skilled at unearthing data and analyzing and translating complex information into concise and useful reports
• Computer literacy and the ability to create complex analysis using Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong work ethic, self starter, and the ability to move projects forward independently
• High level of analytical skills and attention to accuracy
• Must have superior interpersonal skills and a high level of maturity to handle sensitive and confidential information and interactions
• Requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and projects based business priorities
• Proclivity to raise questions about things that do not seem to make sense
